My idea/innovation is based on sponsored Pitt research done in my school or department’s laboratories or other facilities.
Some programs and resources offered to Pitt Innovators are exclusively tailored for individuals – typically faculty or graduate students – who are seeking to commercialize discoveries made while working on sponsored research, including but not limited to funding through government agencies such as the NIH, NSF, DOD or others, corporations, or foundations. Programs and resources are also available to assist those who have an idea or concepts unrelated to formal university research.
